Product Review: Mobile Case from Primark

My previous phone case had so many Bump and Grind stickers on it (Bump and Grind: Monday's at Ten Feet Tall, Cardiff), it began to look a little grotty so a new phone case was in order.
I'm working on a budget ( I put money away for my month trip to Tokyo in 2016), so I needed something within my budget but I also wanted something Kawaii. Unfortunately I cannot really afford shipping as well as purchase (at the moment) so I trolled around the shops in Cardiff and bingo!
I find this cute little cupcake case from Primark.

Made out of rubber, it comes off and goes back on easily while with my previous phone case it would be quite a struggle.
Price: £3.00
Yep.
£3.00.
Absolute Bargain.

The sides can be a bit annoying but you get used to it.

Product Review: Socks from Primark

If you're like me then you go through socks a lot. You will find after five wears that your big toe has popped through or they're thinning underneath. So sock shopping is a killer, but luckily I found three pairs that comfy, thick and strong enough to withstand any toe or shoe...and they only cost me £1 from Primark.

The first thing that caught my eye about these were the colour. I love my neons. Not quite sure why they included a black with two pairs of neon socks though. I would've done a neon green or yellow to run with the theme but hey, they're not my design.
I tend to go to the gym at least 3-5 a week so these are perfect, and since they seem strong they'll be able to deal with more than one session.

Close-up it looks like it says 'Go Gin', but it does say 'Go Girl'. It's just the way it's angled in the image.

One thing I do find with ankle socks is that they slip and then the back of your feet are exposed and it's a pain in the arse to put them in the right place every half hour - these socks don't move at all. They stay firmly in place and you can't really complain about that.

Welcome to the House of Fun: Outfit of the day + Barry Island

I've never been to Barry Island before (saying this usually leads to horrifying gasps, I assume you've had the same reaction) so it's safe to say I was looking forward to having a nice day there, and luckily the weather was on our side.

My outfit of the day is courtesy of the following shops:
• Top - New Look
• Shorts - Next
• Shoes Debenhams

Here is the look in full, high waisted shorts teamed with a light blue vest. A very simple look.
A zip adds a nice little touch to the top, gives it a nice little zing and makes it stand out from your usual plain top.
These are my comfiest shoes. A nice little snakeskin pattern and they give my feet some breathing space.

Decided on this little jumper to give my outfit a bit of colour. Again, the top is from Next.

12:16 p.m - Officially on our way to Barry Island!
Purse: Asos
Phone case: Primark
